Expos can be a great way to kick off your planning or help you find that final detail or vendor to complete your vision. As you wander through the aisles, you’ll find dreamy ideas, drawings and prizes, tips on trends and tried-and-true traditions, and top-notch advice. It’s all about you and your special day. Even so, you don’t have to go it alone. Bringing your bridesmaids along is a great way for you all to bond and share ideas. If your mom is nearby, spending the day planning your wedding is sure to create memories you’ll both cherish. Your future mother-in-law might like to be included too—especially if she doesn’t have any daughters.

Where to begin? As every organized bride knows, proper planning is essential:
• Bring a large shoulder bag for toting samples, brochures, and free stuff.
• A notebook and pen are essential for jotting down ideas.
